Orlando Section Membership Development Report - May 25, 2012

                 

The number of active members at all grades in the Orlando Section increased from 1223 on April 21, 2012 to 1267 on May 23, 2012.

 

A comparison with the totals for May 23, 2011 shows significant year-over-year losses among Associate Members, Fellows, and Members; year-over-year gains among Affiliates, Senior Members, and Student Members.

                                                                                                                               

 

There were no significant month-over-month decreases in any member grades.  

 

From April 24, 2012 through May 16, 2012, 24 new members joined the IEEE in the Orlando Section:  1 Associate Member, 9 Members, 6 Graduate Student Members, and 8 Student Members. Please reach out and welcome these new IEEE members. Their names appear on the attached list of new IEEE members to the Orlando Section with contact information.

From May 14, 2012 through May 21, 2012, 3 active IEEE members moved to the Orlando Section: 1 Graduate Student Member, 1 Student Member, and 1 Member. Please welcome the IEEE members who have moved to the Orlando Section.  Their names and contact information are shown on the attached list.

The number of Members in Arrears for 2012 from the Orlando Section is 316, as of May 23, 2012.  The current list of Members in Arrears is attached to this report.  During the period of recovery, please reach out to lapsed members you know to encourage their membership renewal.

 

The most recent MD webcast was conducted on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, based on April 2012 membership data.  The Region 3 MD Monthly Report for April 2012 is attached to  this report as a PDF file. The next  MD webcast is scheduled for June 20, 2012.
